This short guide walks you through how to easily install the widget onto your website in just a few clicks.
Step 1Click HERE to start installing
After filling in a short form with your details, you will initially see a fully zoomed-out map of the South West. As you zoom in and move around, you will notice that more amenities (colour coded based on the key) will come into view. Use the map tools to zoom and pan until you are looking at the area you wish to feature on your own website. This could be your local area or perhaps a wider vicinity to give visitors an idea of what to do in the region. When you’re happy, click “Use this area” |
Step 2We will ask you a few questions about your business and how and where you will be using the widget. You will also have the chance to sign up to e-newsletters to get updates about the toolkit, and from the partner organisations (these are optional and you can unsubscribe to these at any time).
Please complete the fields and click “Save” to proceed. The system will then generate a link where you can preview the widget and also the HTML code that you can use on your website to display the widget. Paste the code into the HTML of your site or give it to your web developer to do.

Step 4Information about each activity is displayed within the widget but your visitors can also click through to view more details, booking information, etc. on the partners’ websites using the link at the bottom right of the text (where applicable).
We will be regularly adding to and updating the information on the interactive map, and this will automatically update the version on your site - so your customers will always have the latest information about great days out near you. |
